Worn Well: Three Ways to Wear the Terra-Float Universal Lite

Once upon a time, pink and purple were relegated to the kid’s section and the ice-cream shop. But, it’s 2017 now, and pink and purple have emerged as the new power colors. Don’t believe us? Then you probably haven’t met our new Terra-Float Universal Lite sandals, available exclusively at Urban Outfitters and Teva.com.

Dressed in dreamy pastels, this monochromatic take on our favorite featherweight style features FloatLite™ technology for a sandal that’s both ultralight and durable enough to take on the adventure of your choosing.

We teamed up with three powerhouse fashion bloggers to prove you can’t go wrong with pink and purple, no matter what your signature style looks like.

The beautiful thing about Los Angeles is that the weather is great all year. My wardrobe pretty much stays the same, I just peel off some of the layers for the warmer months. Currently been wearing out my boyfriend’s XXL Dolce and Gabbana denim jacket. It’s big, quilted on the inside, and goes with everything. For this look, I wanted the pink Terra-Float Universal Lite sandals to be the star of the show, so I opted for a really understated outfit: some high-waisted, wide-leg trousers and a grey, high-neck sleeveless sweater.

I teamed my Terra-Float Universal Lite sandals with a pair of denim jeans, which I singled cuffed to give off a summer-y vibe. The linen tee pairing is a classic, but to avoid looking too boxy, I layered a crop in a gingham print. Then I added a fun, candy-shop-esque bag, which compliments the cotton-candy-pink sandals perfectly and ties the look together. The color is the perfect summer pastel.

When I’m not wearing sneakers, I’m most likely in Teva sandals. They’re the only other type of shoe I have a collection of! I was inspired by the cool, millennial-pink color of the Terra-Float Universal Lite sandals to pair them with an oversized jersey and wide-leg jeans for an urban, California look. After walking around the Los Angeles Art District all day, I have to say these sandals have quickly become one of my favorites. They’re super light (it’s all in the name, am I right?), neutral, and a cozy choice for any adventure.
