“As I get older, giving homemade gifts doesn’t seem to give me that fuzzy feeling that it used to,” says Teva guest blogger Mary Rondepierre. “I’m also not convinced my girlfriends want another Pinterest project of mine to put up in their homes.”
It’s the classic holiday dilemma when gift-giving options at the intersection of heartfelt and actually wearable are limited. “That being said, the DIY goddess in me is not dead—she is just more practical in her gift giving,” says Rondepierre.
So we came up with a solution: get your friends together, stock up on drinks and snacks, and unwrap our Teva X Honestly WTF DIY kits for a girls’ craft night in to celebrate the season. Designed by Honestly WTF founder Erica Chan, each kit comes with a pair of Original Universal Sandals or Flatform Universal Sandals, Swarovski crystals, application tools, embroidery floss, and an instruction and inspiration manual.
“Each of us decorated a pair with a friend or family member in mind to give the gift of Teva sandals with our personal stamp,” says Rondepierre. “It satisfied all of our wants and needs to create our own personalized gifts while giving our loved ones a pair of shoes, the best of both gift-giving worlds.”
