Feral Creature in Socks and Sandals

Just because fall is here doesn’t mean sandal season is over. Don’t believe us? Ask Eugenie Grey of Feral Creature. A curator of bold style (she’s the proud owner of rainbow hair), Grey gave not one but two of our sandals a test drive, letting socks from Richer Poorer ride shotgun for the colder months ahead.

Who she is: Eugenie Grey, style and travel blogger.

What she wore: Women’s Original Universal Gradient in Grey/White and Legion Blue/Light Blue and Richer Poorer socks, Women’s Hari Crew in Black and Earheart in Navy

What she loved: “Two awesome ombré styles that I fell in love with—one that matches my hair, one that matches my name.”

How she wore it: When it comes to going big or going home, you can probably guess which one Grey goes with. She gave our socks and sandals combination not one but two larger-than-life looks: one with a Japanese street style edge in a sporty coat over a crop top and parachute pants, the other with a casual menswear look courtesy of a wool suit and a loose tank top. “Teva is huge in Japan,” Grey says. “And the uniqueness of its wearers and of the brand itself is brought out by everyone’s personal sock choices. Further proof Teva can be worn anytime, anywhere.” Photos by Randy Tran.
